For almost
twenty years, our company has specialised
in the
construction of models reproducing landscapes
mainly directed
at local authorities, departmental
directorates for infrastructure, motorway operators,
with a view to inserting the models into a landscape
with road courses, into works of art or urban
planning.
These models are milled in polyurethane foam by a
direct reproduction of the topographical survey.
The level curves are levelled in order to reproduce the
natural slopes of the site and the project, and the model
is then hardened by a polyurethane resin and then coated
with different coloured and grain-size flocking in
order
to reproduce the plant and mineral coverings.
These techniques have enabled us to optimise the cost
of
producing this kind of models. Moreover, between
4,000
5,000 € and 5,000 $ per square metre
should
be taken into account for the scales of between 1:1,000
and 1:25,000.
